Before I left the hospital I asked why the biopsies were taken and the nurse … WebHi, new to sub. 29F based in UK. I was diagnosed last year with colitis after biopsies were taken from a colonoscopy. Not specifically UC and when I asked a Dr from the IBD team he didn't have more specific info than that. I think I've been in abit of denial about it as things were relatively manageable.
