That said for gaming PBO is probably the way to go.. mine regularly PBOs to about 4.5GHz and it basically holds it indefinitely. You can reach higher single clocks on a 5900x I'm sure tho. The same tasks have the temps sit at about the same, but I do notice that when I hammer the i9 the cores trade off the work within Windows 10, meanwhile the same tasks hammer ALL of the 5950X cores at the same time.
